“The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up… His duty is to lay the foundation for those who are to come, and point the way.”
~ Nikola Tesla
In Mid-2009, the foundation was able to obtain permission from one of our members to utilise their remote facility in Douglas to conduct research and establish a small base of operations.
In May 2010, the foundation became a member of the Australian Space Research Institute.
The Next Steps
The Epsilon Foundation is aiming at raising $2 million in order to purchase/develop a Space Science Education Centre and a further $500, 000 to purchase land in excess of 50 acres. The Education Centre will be located in the heart of Toowoomba and will house:
- an observatory housing an optical telescope for education and demonstration
- planetarium,
- administrative facilities and
- technical workshops and laboratory for research and development
Visit The Epsilon Project Page for more information.
During the next 2 years this will be our primary concern.
