Graphic Designer

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our creative team. This position requires broad technical knowledge in various computing applications, and the ability to produce digital print and online media for our organisation.

Requirements:

• Tafe / University qualifications in graphic design
• a keen passion graphic design
• strong technical knowledge in computing and graphic design applications
• strong Adobe Photoshop skills or similar graphic design software
• High performance computer and/or laptop

Although these skills are essential, as part of your application you are only required to demonstrate examples of your ability to produce a sound product.

Job Description

As a graphic designer you will be required prepare images for presentations, web development, marketing material architectural development as well as provide supplementary material towards educational products.
You will be successful in becoming part of this extraordinary team if you have sound experience in graphic design.
Roles of a Multimedia and Design Technician include:

• conduct complex 2D layered graphics
• create and manipulate layered images,
• liaise with interdepartmental organisations,
• prepare presentations,
• provide technical advice on graphic design, and
• assist the assistant supervising graphic designer.

Equipment

You must supply your own equipment and be familiar with operating computer software. At times you may require some specialist graphic design software.

Minimum equipment requirements:

• High-performance graphic design computer
• broadband internet access, and
